1&2 Timothy, Titus, Philemon (BC-306)

A verse-by-verse study of the Pastoral Epistles, offering rich practical wisdom for overseeing churches, protecting against false doctrine, and encouraging Christ-like community.

About This Course

The letters of 1 & 2 Timothy and Titus, known as the "Pastoral Epistles," are addressed to individuals charged with overseeing churches. These letters represent the final stage of the apostle Paul's life and labors, filled with parting counsel to his beloved disciples.

"These letters have a wealth of material and information for pastors as well as all believers. They are rich in practical wisdom and full of encouragement to stand strong in God's Word."

This course is a verse-by-verse study of these three epistles along with Paul's personal letter to Philemon. It covers instructions on protecting churches from false teachings, forming Christ-like communities, church administration, and persevering in faith. The letter to Philemon provides a unique window into the pastoral methods of Paul and the early house churches.
