Pastoral Counseling (BC-403)

This is a highly practical course based on years of pastoral counseling experience. It covers essential topics in counseling psychology, Christian counseling, and pastoral care to equip you to help hurting people effectively.

About This Course

This course provides a comprehensive Biblical, psychological, theological, and pastoral approach to understanding and helping people. Drawing directly from the extensive experience of APC Pastors, it bridges the gap between sound theology and compassionate, clinical understanding.

"Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety." — Proverbs 11:14

Designed to be in-depth, academically serious, clinically informed, Biblically grounded, and pastorally practical, the primary objective of this course is to develop competent pastoral and lay counselors. You will learn how to listen well, identify core issues, and apply God's Word and practical wisdom to bring healing and direction to those in need.

Disclaimer: While the curriculum is academically rigorous, it is not intended to provide clinical credentials. This is NOT a government-recognized professional qualification or license to practice clinical psychology or psychotherapy.
