About This Course
God is King and Ruler. His Kingdom is His rule and dominion that supersedes all. Jesus came announcing the good news of the Kingdom of heaven, teaching us its ways and principles. He vested in the Church the authority of the Kingdom and commissioned us to advance it here on earth.
This course takes us through an understanding of key insights concerning the Kingdom of God. It explores how to live as Kingdom people and trains us to be Kingdom builders, working together with God and one another. Discover and experience the Kingdom in a fresh new way.
What You Will Learn
Some of the main themes we cover in this course include:
- The Kingdom of God: A Kingdom planned, the King and His Kingdom, the Church and the Kingdom, Kingdom thinking, living, culture, parables, authority, and government.
- Kingdom Builders: Christ as King, the Holy Spirit as Director, the nature of God-given vision, and the Kingdom builder's lifestyle.
- Building people by the Spirit and partnership in the Kingdom.
- The citywide church establishing God's Kingdom.
- Raising the next generation for Kingdom service.
Course Evaluation & Grading
Students will be given graded assessments during the Semester. Each of these assessments will be in reference to all content covered till that point in the course.
