Discover the powerful narratives of restoration, divine protection, and prophetic vision in the post-exilic period. This course reveals God's unfailing faithfulness to His people as they rebuild their lives, their city, and their temple.

About This Course

This course offers an in-depth study of five pivotal books of the Old Testament that describe the profound era of restoration after the Babylonian exile. We will explore the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem under the encouragement of Haggai, and delve into Zechariah's vivid visions and prophecies concerning Jerusalem, God’s kingdom, and the future Messiah.

"The God of heaven Himself will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build..." — Nehemiah 2:20

Additionally, we will study God's providential deliverance for the Jewish people through the courage of Esther. The journey continues with the spiritual renewal and dedication of the Temple under the leadership of Ezra, culminating in the strategic and faith-filled rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls under Nehemiah. Together, these books showcase God's sovereign hand in history, His relentless commitment to His covenant, and invaluable lessons on leadership and perseverance.
