Equipping and Educational Methods for Christian Disciple Making (BC-410)
This course is designed to form Christian ministers as dynamic educators who can confidently choose, adapt, and multiply educational methods for making disciples of Jesus Christ in any environment—from urban cities to rural villages.
About This Course
This is a comprehensive, academically serious, theologically integrated, and intensively practical course focused on the art and science of disciple-making. With Scripture as our absolute authority, the local church as the primary school of Christ, and the Holy Spirit as the true Teacher, students will be equipped to reach people across all walks of life—among the literate and the oral, children and adults, and in environments of both freedom and restriction.
Following an educator-disciple sequence, the curriculum navigates through the biblical theology of teaching, educational theory, and human development across cultures. We will explore a wide map of methods, drawing from historic Christian practices as well as contemporary pedagogies, digital learning pathways, and specialized strategies for oral cultures.
