Earthen Vessels - Understanding Human Personality (BC-407)

This course is designed to help pastors and Christian ministers deeply understand the people they are called to lead, ensuring they can serve their communities with wisdom, grace, and healthy boundaries.

About This Course

Christian ministry is inherently relational, which means ministers must be equipped to navigate the beautiful yet complex reality of human behavior. This course helps Christian leaders understand various human personalities and mixed personality types, their characteristic behaviors, and the unique strengths and risks associated with those patterns.

"But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us." — 2 Corinthians 4:7

You will develop the skills needed to work with challenging people within a Christian ministry or community context. Furthermore, students will learn how to provide Scriptural and practical guidance to help individuals overcome behavioral challenges and move toward wholeness in Christ. Crucially, the course also covers how to establish firm, loving boundaries so that negative behaviors do not cause harm to the minister or the wider congregation.
