Communication Through Writing & Media (BC-408)

This course is designed to form Christian communicators who can think clearly, write truthfully, and produce useful media for the gospel — from a simple WhatsApp message to a research paper, and from a sermon graphic to a short teaching video.

About This Course

This is a comprehensive, in-depth, academically serious, ethically rigorous, and intensively practical course that follows a true craftsman's sequence. It begins with the theology and calling of a communicator, diving into how a Christian ought to think, process information, and engage with language.

"Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." — Colossians 4:6

The curriculum covers the full spectrum of writing—from short to mid and long forms—across various ministry genres. Beyond writing, it explores the practical aspects of modern communication: graphics, photography, video, and audio production using freely available tools on mobile phones or computers.

Additionally, you will navigate the complexities of modern publishing platforms, media ethics, legal boundaries, multilingual practices, team dynamics, and responsible AI stewardship. All of this is anchored with Scripture as the absolute authority and the local church as the primary field of practice for global impact.
