Book Study: Isaiah (BC-402)

The Book of Isaiah is a sweeping prophetic masterpiece that spans the history of Israel, the judgment of nations, and the glorious promise of a coming Messiah. Often referred to as the "Fifth Gospel," it offers some of the most profound revelations of God's redemptive plan.

About This Course

This course provides an in-depth study on the Book of Isaiah. As one of the major prophets, Isaiah ministers during a time of immense political turmoil and spiritual decay in Judah. Through his writings, we encounter a Holy God who disciplines His people but also promises extraordinary comfort, restoration, and ultimate salvation through His Anointed One.

"For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." — Isaiah 9:6

We will journey through the book's major divisions: the pronouncement of judgment against rebellion, the historical interlude surrounding King Hezekiah, and the soaring messages of comfort and future glory. A special emphasis will be placed on understanding the "Suffering Servant" passages and how these prophetic visions point directly to the life, death, and triumphant reign of Jesus Christ.
